Lois Holguin is a seasoned special education advocate with more than two decades of experience supporting families navigating the special education system. As a parent of children with disabilities and a trained advocate, Lois brings both personal insight and professional expertise to every case she takes on.
Throughout her career, she has helped countless families across Texas and beyond understand their rights, participate meaningfully in IEP meetings, and secure appropriate services and supports for their children. Her approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of special education law and policy.
Lois is the co-founder of Voices for Special Education, where she continues her mission to empower parents and ensure students with disabilities are seen, heard, and supported.
When she’s not advocating, Lois enjoys gardening and finds peace and fulfillment in nurturing plants—just as she’s spent years nurturing growth and progress in the families she serves.
